Referent (f/m/d) Energy industry processes

Market communication is the "communication center of the energy industry". It ensures standardized and digital market processes that support the efficient handling of information exchange in the energy market and the implementation of new business models suitable for the mass market. Together with its member companies, BDEW creates and develops the necessary processes and data formats. The primary focus of market communication is currently on implementing the processes required to accelerate supplier switching and to integrate flexibility solutions into the market. In the future, the focus will increasingly be on new European requirements and the integration of new developments in generation and consumption.

Your tasks

  • The focus of the activity is the independent processing of topics and fundamental issues in the field of market communication, also with regard to European requirements and national legislation (e.g. B. Prosuming)
  • Managing projects and moderating workshops with internal and external participants
  • Supervision of and participation in internal association committees as well as representation of the association and participation in external committees or events
  • Analysis and evaluation of regulatory requirements, exchange and close cooperation with internal and external experts in the examination of facts and the development of proposed solutions
  • Drafting and developing the necessary documents for market communication
  • Developing technical statements, strategy papers and industry positions for the Federal Network Agency, the German government and European organizations
  • Processing and publication of specialist topics in the association's specific media and for public communication, conception of specialist events and speaker activities

Your profile

  • Successfully completed university studies (diploma / master's degree) with a suitable subject area (e.g. B. economics / administrative / social sciences, computer science or energy industry specialization); relevant professional or industry experience is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of energy industry contexts and legislation, strategic thinking and a good understanding of complex contexts as well as a high affinity for processes and IT
  • Experience in project management and moderation
  • Experience in handling market processes in the energy market, developing business processes or process modeling and/or data formats is an advantage
  • Convincing personality with a confident manner, negotiation and argumentation skills and very good written communication skills as well as the ability to present specialist topics in a concise and understandable way for different target groups
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Very good knowledge of the common Office programs
