Structured Trader - Electricity / Natural Gas (f/m/d)

To support our Sales Desk team in the area of Sales Portfolio Management, we are looking for a Structured Sales Trader (m/f/d) for our Kassel office, with a focus on electricity, with enthusiasm for trading, a strong commercial mindset and enjoy working in a highly dynamic environment
YOUR TASK AREA
- Calculation of standardized and structured trading transactions for electricity and natural gas
- Negotiating with German and international customers
- Driving forward our bilateral B2B business
- Analyzing and optimizing our sales and trading strategies, taking into account the changing portfolio and market situations in the electricity market
- Collaborate closely and exchange ideas with traders and analysts to discuss trading ideas and coordinate trading activities
- Supporting the development and expansion of our digital trading solutions
- Involvement in internal interfaces, support for internal IT projects and the development of new products and market channels
YOUR PROFILE
- University degree with an economics/technical background, e.g. business administration, finance, business mathematics, and/or several years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of the European energy markets and practical experience in trading in the electricity sector desirable
- Strong analytical skills and a good understanding of mathematics
- Advanced IT skills, experience in MS Excel, VBA programming, MS Access and/or MS PowerBI are an advantage
- Commercial thinking and a high degree of initiative
- High level of commitment and team spirit
- Business fluent German and good written and spoken English
