Tax, Compliance and Reporting Officer (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Advising the entire evm Group on tax matters
- Ensuring the implementation of new tax developments or changes due to legislation and/or case law
- Accompanying the preparation of annual financial statements from a tax law perspective
- Supervision of external tax audits
- Providing support on issues relating to tax optimization and structuring of the group of companies and the preparation of tax reports
- Preparing energy and electricity tax returns and applying for energy and electricity tax relief
- Coordinating, monitoring and analyzing tax-relevant processes and systems and further developing the tax compliance management system
- Checking and preparing the legally required (financial and non-financial) reporting
- Taking on department-specific specialist and special tasks
Your qualifications
- Completed (technical) university degree in business administration or comparable with a focus on accounting and/or taxes
- Successfully passed tax consultant exam desirable
- Several years of professional experience in operational accounting and/or taxation
- Very good tax knowledge, ideally knowledge of energy and electricity tax law
- Expert knowledge in tax compliance, ideally experience in sustainability reporting
- Knowledge of IT applications (SAP, Office products and DATEV), ideally experience in using beck-Online and/or juris
- Strong analytical skills
- High level of responsibility, independence and initiative
- Good written expression
- Willingness to undergo continuous further training
