Control room attendant for combined heat and power plant (f/m/d)
Your tasks
- Independently control and monitor the operation of the combined heat and power plant (CHP) for generating electricity from landfill gas (landfill gas well, CHP, transformer station, heat exchanger, gas purification)
- Carry out measurements and coordinate and evaluate the measurement results.
- Recognize and eliminate faults and alarms at an early stage and maintain the systems.
- Check the safety equipment such as the non-return seals and ensure the smooth technical and technological workflow during operation.
- Document and evaluate operating data, continuously optimize processes and ensure that external companies are instructed.
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training in plant mechanics, supply engineering, mechatronics, electrics or in an industrial or manual metalworking trade
- At least 2 years of practical work experience
- Class B driving license
- Knowledge of the microbial processes of qualitative and quantitative landfill gas formation as well as gas compression and gas engine operation, electrical power generation is desirable
- Experience in dealing with repair and maintenance programs
