Energy Trader (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the market access of our internal and external customers to the various commodity markets such as gas, CO2, electricity and coal and, if necessary, execute the associated FX hedging transactions
- You will be responsible for your own trading book and also continuously optimize hedge book positions in coordination with the team
- With the support of data and desk analysts, you will develop trading strategies, implement them profitably and provide input to market models
- You continuously exchange information on current trading strategies and market positioning at the desk and in regular calls with the team
- You support the expansion and implementation of relevant reporting
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in business administration, industrial engineering, mathematics or similar
- First professional experience in energy trading or the financial services industry is an advantage
- Good understanding of the energy markets
- Affinity for numbers, quick comprehension, stress resistance
- Business fluent in German and English
