Network Development Engineer Pipe Networks (m/f/d)

• As part of your role, you will be responsible for optimizing grid structures and developing sustainable supply concepts in the context of the energy transition.
• You will carry out target grid planning with a long-term horizon of up to 20 years.
• Your activities will include developing planning principles and standardizing the technologies and materials used, as well as the preliminary planning of construction measures in the gas, water and heating sectors.
• You will be responsible for strategic asset management to develop the maintenance strategy in coordination with the network operations and service departments.
• You will be responsible for managing / working on interdisciplinary and cross-divisional projects.
• Representing the network operator vis-à-vis third parties, such as investors or municipalities, to support municipal heat planning rounds off your field of activity.

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, supply engineering or process engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of energy supply in the gas, heat and water sectors.
• Good GIS knowledge and experience in the software products STANET for network calculation and KANEW for asset simulation are desirable.
• Knowledge of the common MS Office products and a high IT affinity are required.
• You are characterized by very good written and oral communication skills.
• You also have a high level of initiative, customer and service orientation and a solution-oriented way of working.
