Gas and water fitter or pipe fitter as guard specialist tradesman (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- User-defined field 2: Full-time
- Pipe networks
- Professional handling of fault clearance operations, prevention and initiation of measures to rectify faults in operating and customer systems during emergency operations (e.g. uncontrolled gas leaks, water leaks). Coordinated action with the fire department and police
- Assisting with all civil engineering, pipe-laying and repair work required to rectify faults in the gas and water pipe network using the available measuring equipment (e.g. gas meters, personal protection equipment, etc.)
- Driving with special signals (blue light, siren) in accordance with §38 StVO (right of way)
- Carrying out maintenance and inspection work in the gas and water network as well as checking construction sites in accordance with RSA
- Locating leaks in the gas and water network as part of the fault clearance process
Your qualifications
- Completed specialist training as a gas/water fitter or pipe fitter
- Several years of functionally relevant work experience
- Participation in shift work
- Respiratory protection suitability according to G26
- Class B driving license; ideally C1E
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
