Engineer (f/m/d) specializing in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology
Your tasks
- Independent and autonomous system maintenance of the automation level of the control technology with a large number of PLCs of the group, process and higher-level control level of the process control system including local control and motor control cards as well as bus systems for wastewater treatment plants and sludge dewatering and incineration plants within the framework of current BSI guidelines for critical infrastructures
- Independent creation and testing of new programs for plant expansions, including functional checks
- Independent rectification of difficult faults and troubleshooting
- Independent program and data maintenance of the PLC and on-site control points
- Data backup and documentation as well as their updating in accordance with current BSI guidelines for critical infrastructures
- Independent project coordination of various difficult expansion / extension projects at the Sindlingen, Niederrad and Griesheim sites while maintaining ongoing operations
- Participation in the preparation and awarding of services to external companies and their monitoring during execution
- Independently coordinating the difficult construction work of the expansion/extension projects with operational issues and other operational projects in the field of automation and control technology
- Independent and responsible project management for construction measures that are planned or locally monitored by third parties
- Checking invoices for difficult contracts awarded
- Participation in the preparation of business plans
- Monitoring construction invoices and construction loans, subsequent claims for funds
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) / Bachelor) in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology, desirable in the field of water and power plant technology
- Professional experience in PLC programming and bus technology in the field of water and power plant technology and their connection to a process control system
- Project coordination for expansion / extension projects of construction measures with regard to automation and process control technology
- Class B driving license and fitness to drive company vehicles
- Conceptual work and coordination skills
- Knowledge of and experience with critical infrastructure
- Ability to negotiate, communicate and resolve conflicts
- Commitment and deadline awareness
