Engineer for power plant technology
Your tasks
- Preparation of technical reports on the condition of or damage to power plants and their components
- On-site inspection of plants
- Carrying out acceptance measurements in power plants (performance tests with e.g. pressure, temperature, power or vibration measurements)
- Deployment in Germany, Europe and worldwide with stays abroad of up to one to two weeks
- Execution of thermodynamic calculations
- Analysis of measurement data and evaluation of technical documentation
Your qualifications
- Experience with power plant components such as gas and steam turbines, generators, steam generators, pumps, compressors, etc.
- Experience in dealing with measurement technology
- Successful degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or electrical engineering
- In-depth knowledge of Excel, confident use of other MS Office programs
- Programming skills (e.g. Visual Basic) an advantage
- Independent and careful way of working, high analytical skills
- German level C2
- English level C1, other foreign language an advantage
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of power plant or process engineering
