Engineer (m/f/d) PLC Programming Automation
Your tasks
- Development, programming, adaptation and implementation of PLC programs and web visualizations in the Phoenix Contact PLCnext Engineer engineering software platform, as well as maintenance and use of the associated patch and device update management system
- Setting up and implementing standard programs in the Saia PG5 Suite PLC programming environment in technical systems in the local heating, district heating, gas and water sectors
- Close cooperation with various internal structural units, in particular with the control system administrators and the operational staff, to integrate the automation technology and process control technology into the company and plant processes
- Creating interoperability lists, programming and setting up various communication interfaces such as IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, M-BUS
- Carrying out commissioning and acceptance of automated EI&C systems in the local heating, district heating, gas and water sectors
- Supporting project management through coordinating activities in the systems
- Collaboration in the further development and implementation of plant strategies, conceptual support for the strategic development of automation and telecontrol technology (maintenance, technical standardization, heat transition, decentralized sector coupling)
- Supporting the creation of divisional standards and technical documentation for EI&C, automation and telecontrol technology, taking into account the current legal framework and regulations
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree (at least Bachelor) in the field of electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, control engineering, automation engineering, supply engineering, process engineering
- Several years of professional experience in the field of PLC programming, preferably in the energy supply sector
- Ability to understand process engineering processes and to develop and implement solution-oriented technical system concepts for control and regulation tasks
- Confident in using Microsoft Office products and reading circuit diagrams
- Practical experience in the engineering software platform Phoenix Contact PLCnext Engineer and Saia PG5 Suite desirable
- Strong IT affinity, knowledge of computer and network technology as well as practical experience in programming and commissioning PLC and HMI solutions
- High degree of initiative and creativity in the development of sustainable solutions for existing and new tasks
- Strategic thinking, analytical, independent, process- and solution-oriented way of thinking and working
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
