Project engineer for utility-scale battery storage systems (BESS) (human*)
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for advising our customers on the planning and execution of utility-scale battery storage projects, with a focus on Germany
- You will work on various project phases, from concept to detailed planning and tendering to construction and commissioning supervision on site
- You will also be responsible for evaluating new battery technologies, components and suppliers
- You are responsible for the technical integration of battery storage systems into various system concepts (e.g. combination with PV and wind)
- You will provide support with approval and grid connection planning
- Through cross-location cooperation and diverse networking opportunities, you can expand your knowledge and benefit from the experience of others
- After reviewing your documents and coordinating with the relevant department, we will get back to you as soon as possible
- We will then get to know each other via Microsoft Teams or directly in person at one of our locations and discuss all further details
Your qualifications
- You have a university degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering
- You have experience in the planning and implementation of utility-scale battery storage systems. You can also demonstrate experience with power electronics and control systems. Existing knowledge in the areas of grid integration and combining battery storage with renewable energy systems is an advantage.
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and an independent, organized and careful way of working.
