Team Leader Large Projects – Technical Engineering (m/f/d)

• In this role you will lead the Technical Engineering team within the project department of TenneT AC Projects in technical, organizational and disciplinary terms.
• You are responsible for resource planning, recruiting as well as training and further education of your employees, who you send to a regional program where they implement the technical planning and conceptual design of lines and stations (e.g. substations) in large grid expansion projects in Germany
• You coordinate and support your team members and the assigned projects in clarifying technical issues and strategies internally and with external project partners
• With your help, your team will ensure that the projects continue to develop professionally and in terms of standards and that processes are optimized. You will be responsible for the interface to other technical departments at TenneT and actively participate in the further development of technical standards and processes
• You understand that the travel associated with project support is part of your job
• You actively contribute to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and external contractors

• You have a degree, preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• You have relevant and demonstrable professional experience in the relevant areas of responsibility, in particular the construction of electrical infrastructure
• You are familiar with leading interdisciplinary teams and working in a project environment in a matrix structure
• Your sociability, confident demeanor, teamwork and communication skills qualify you for the advertised management and interface function
• Your knowledge of process and lean management will help you to work on new topics and challenges in a self-responsible and structured manner
• You can express yourself very well verbally and in writing in German and English and are used to working professionally with the products of the MS Office package
