Electrical engineer LV (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Preparation, implementation and follow-up of tests in the area of low, medium and high voltage
- Cooperation and coordination of the team with corresponding division of responsibilities
- Tests according to standard specifications, e.g. to verify dielectric strength, switching capacity and current-carrying capacity, as well as tests according to customer specifications
- Standard-compliant testing of low-, medium- and high-voltage devices and systems
- Calculation and design of test circuits up to 2400 MVA of power from various sources (transmission grid, generators)
- Ongoing training in the relevant standards
- Conceptual development of testing, control and measurement technology and test procedures
- Creation and processing of schedules and rough calculations
- Design and conceptualization of test aids as well as test and measurement setups
- Technical and organizational support in the quotation phase of an order
- Technical and organizational coordination in the run-up to and during the tests
- Technical support for individual customers, groups and third-party observers with subsequent preparation of test documentation
Your qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s / Master’s or engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering or electrical power engineering
- Knowledge of IEC, IEEE and ANSI standards is desirable
- Good knowledge of energy technology, measurement technology and general electrical engineering
- Confident handling of MS-Office, in particular MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Visio
- Knowledge of simulation and circuit diagram software is desirable
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to work shifts
