• As a plant mechanic in the gas and water fault clearance service, you are responsible for initial safety and hazard prevention in the event of faults in the supply systems in your area of responsibility.
• You will independently make time-critical initial decisions on site.
• You will prepare the technical documentation for fault location and pipe network inspections.
• You will independently carry out special repair work on the gas and water supply lines – always in accordance with the recognized rules of technology.
• You will supervise small construction sites and take care of the commissioning and decommissioning of supply lines.
• The careful documentation of reports in the relevant IT systems and the taking of accredited drinking water samples round off your area of responsibility.
• As part of the gas/water fault clearance service, which is manned around the clock, you will be responsible for initial safety and hazard prevention in the event of faults in our supply systems. You initiate all necessary measures to rectify the fault and make time-critical initial decisions on site.
• Together with 17 other team members, you will tackle this important issue and work in one of nine shift groups 24/7 in alternating shifts.
• As we are still in the middle of the transformation process, you will encounter both the “Du” and the “Sie” in the application process. Before this leads to uncertainty, we would like to mention it in advance.

• You have successfully completed training as a plant mechanic or industrial mechanic or have a comparable qualification.
• You also have extensive knowledge of gas and water supply networks.
• Ideally, you already have good practical expertise in gas/water pipeline construction and knowledge of the applicable regulations and accident prevention regulations.
• You also like to master challenging tasks, keep an overview in every situation and are careful and reliable even under time pressure.
• It is important to us that you are a team player, well organized, highly independent and curious.
• Working alternating shifts is a matter of course for you.
• You have a class C1/C1E driving license or are willing to obtain one in the near future.
