Power Plant Operator / Boiler Operator (m/f/d) – specializing in mechanics
Your tasks
- We are looking for a dedicated Power Plant Operator / Boiler Operator (m/f/d) with strong expertise in mechanics to join our energy supply team. As a power plant technician with a focus on mechanics, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our energy supply systems at the Grenzach-Wyhlen site. Your expertise and technical skills in the field of mechanics will help to ensure that our systems run smoothly and that the energy supply is guaranteed. This permanent position in 5 shifts is to be filled immediately or by arrangement.
- Operation and maintenance of the plants according to operational requirements (e.g. gas turbines, steam turbines with generators, high and low pressure steam boilers and their auxiliary equipment)
- Carrying out minor repairs and assisting with maintenance work
- Keeping quality-relevant logs
- Taking samples in accordance with operational, internal and official specifications
- Collaboration in the improvement of work processes
- Monitoring/operating the media supply for cooling, compressed air, factory water, nitrogen, hydrogen via DCS
Your qualifications
- Completed training as a mechanic, metalworker, mechatronics technician, precision mechanic, industrial mechanic or comparable mechanical-technical profession with several years of professional experience
- Experience with energy systems advantageous
- Completed further training as a boiler attendant (advantageous)
- Willingness to work shifts
- Good written and spoken German
