Your tasks
- As head of department, you are responsible for the management and development of the team. This includes the recruitment, training and strategic development of employees. You promote open communication and collaboration within the department and with other organizational units. Personnel planning is crucial for achieving the department’s goals.
- It is your responsibility to drive the strategic planning of the department. This includes setting targets, priorities and allocating resources. You organize workflows and projects within the department.
- You will continuously look for ways to improve processes and introduce new technologies to increase the efficiency of the department. The implementation of automated processes and the introduction of new technologies are key elements of your responsibility.
- Your focus is on implementing automated processes to reduce manual tasks and minimize errors. You will optimize costs through more efficient use of resources and process optimization by using technology to automate.
- You will lead and participate in departmental, divisional and external projects and initiatives to support and achieve the department’s goals.
- As part of our divisional development for the Meter2Cash division, we have completely reorganized ourselves and created the Order and Metering Point Management department.
- In this position, you will have the opportunity to restructure the department and work with employees to put it on the road to success.
- This department is responsible for all activities involved in creating a dispatchable order and provides the central expertise for all technical topics. It is responsible for the strategically optimized technology selection for all divisions and the continuous further development of the systems and portals for commissioning M2C in order to create an optimal touchpoint to the customer and automated order opening.
- Based on messages from the portals, the department selects the metering concept and sets up the location structure behind the grid connection, including the relationships between the metering and market locations and the allocation of technical resources.
- A future-proof master data model is also developed and maintained by the department. Finally, it manages cross-departmental and cross-divisional interfaces to optimize processes and workflows.

Your qualifications
- You have a degree in engineering or economics (Dipl./Dipl.-Ing., M.Sc.) or a comparable qualification, including management experience (at least two years).
- A solid technical understanding and expertise is required to provide the central expertise for all technical topics and to drive the continuous development of systems and portals.
- You can tackle complex challenges in a structured way and develop innovative solutions. You build, lead and develop high-performing and motivated teams. You recognize conflicts early on and resolve them confidently to ensure a harmonious and productive working environment.
- You put customers at the center of your work and always strive for excellent results. Your high affinity for IT and digitalization enables you to use modern technologies effectively and optimize processes.
