Foreman in the combined heat and power plant (m/f/d)

As Stadtwerke Rosenheim, we ensure that 65,000 citizens in Rosenheim and the surrounding area are supplied with water, energy and heat. Through the work of our approximately 500 employees, we create everyday quality of life and enable our company to constantly develop in terms of energy.
In our waste-to-energy plant, we generate electricity, district heating and process steam, mainly using combined heat and power. To do this, we have state-of-the-art facilities such as waste and heating boilers, steam turbines, heat pumps, gas engines and a hydroelectric power plant.

Your tasks

  • As part of our dedicated team, you will make a decisive contribution to the secure and efficient supply of energy to the city of Rosenheim.
  • Your focus will be on the operation and monitoring of large heat pumps, boiler systems and steam turbines.
  • As a plant and work supervisor, you will know the plants in detail and work closely with the maintenance department and plant operators in a solution-oriented manner.
  • You will gradually acquire knowledge of the relevant subject areas, processes and specialist programs in power plant technology so that you can take responsibility for them after intensive training.
  • Your tasks will also include the analysis and documentation of operating data and the continuous optimization of processes based on this data with the aim of increasing efficiency.

Your qualifications

  • Independent | reliable | responsible
  • You have successfully completed technical training and further training as a master craftsman, technician or master craftsman – or a comparable qualification in power plant engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • You have an impressive willingness to undergo further training in power plant technology and to familiarize yourself with specific topics.
  • You are also always ready to take on responsibility.
  • You are characterized by analytical thinking and the ability to evaluate operating data and optimize processes.
  • The ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and initiative round off your profile.
