PLC programmer for control and regulation technology (m/f/d)
Stadtwerke Rosenheim GmbH & Co. KG is a successful, modern, municipal supply and waste disposal company with around 500 employees. In our waste-to-energy plant, we generate electricity, district heating and process steam, mainly using combined heat and power. Among other things, waste and heating boilers, steam turbines, heat pumps and gas engines are available for energy generation. As part of the Energy Concept 2025+, the aim is to make the city of Rosenheim’s energy supply CO2 -neutral by using wood gasification technology, among other things.
Your tasks
- In addition to a varied and diverse range of tasks in an innovative environment, you will get to know the Rosenheim wood gasification plant and bring the control system to series production readiness. You will join our motivated team on the road to climate neutrality in Rosenheim.
- How you can contribute
- Your area of responsibility includes the design of market-oriented, innovative control architectures and visualization solutions for our wood gasification systems.
- You will also be responsible for the planning, development, coding, testing and timely implementation of the modules with all promised services.
- You will simulate and optimize control loops using standard software such as SCILAB, Matlab and Simulink.
- You will develop machine concepts and functional sequences in close cooperation with mechanical and electrical design and process engineering.
- You will be responsible for the programming, commissioning and optimization of prototypes as well as the remote maintenance of existing systems.
- The independent planning of complex automation solutions and interdisciplinary coordination with internal and external project staff are also part of your day-to-day work.
Your qualifications

- You have successfully completed technical vocational training with appropriate further training as a technician/master craftsman, a degree with a focus on automation technology/computer science or comparable qualifications.
- You have already gained professional experience in programming work and are familiar with the essential processes.
- You are proficient in PLC programming, preferably in Aprol (B&R) or PCS7 (Siemens) and have a basic knowledge of computer science (C++/Python).
- You have basic knowledge of reading and analyzing electrical circuit diagrams and P&I flow charts.
- You are characterized by a structured, independent and conscientious way of working and ensure the timely completion of your tasks through your good self-organization.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills and a willingness to travel (approx. 10% of the job) round off your profile.
