Trainee (f/m/d) in the field of ecological consumer advice and market surveillance with a focus on greenwashing/climate neutrality pledges by companies

We are one of the leading environmental and consumer protection associations in Germany and effectively ensure real, positive change. Nature conservation, environmental protection, climate protection, consumer protection: we make it happen and fight for the best possible solutions in the interests of the environment and people.
Consumers are increasingly interested in the environmental impact of their consumption. Companies have recognized this trend and are therefore increasingly advertising their products with environmental benefits. Around 80 percent of products sold in the EU internal market now contain an environmental claim. On closer inspection, however, we find that these products do not keep their advertising promises and that in many cases this is massive greenwashing. Promises made by companies about climate neutrality at some point in the future are often unsubstantiated. As a consumer protection association with the right to take legal action, we are in a position to prevent such misleading advertising by appropriate means.
