Expert (f/m/d) Turbulence and load calculation for wind turbines
The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The Group’s project pipeline currently amounts to more than 19 gigawatts in all of its markets. It also manages wind and PV parks via its operations management company UKB.
Your tasks
- Perform turbulence calculations: Use your expertise to reduce yield losses due to turbulence.
- Analyze expert opinions: Review site suitability reports to develop efficient solutions and identify the best approaches.
- Evaluate and optimize load calculations: Analyze and optimize load calculations in exchange with manufacturers.
- Evaluate and optimize sector management: Increase efficiency in sector management through your analytical skills and innovative approaches.
- Evaluate permits: Evaluate permits, especially with regard to turbulence, to ensure that all legal and technical requirements can be implemented.
- Support committee work and contract negotiations: Work on relevant committees to contribute to key decisions and developments. Also participate in warranty and contract negotiations with equipment manufacturers to ensure the best conditions for our company.
Your qualifications
- Completed studies with a technical focus (e.g. mechanical engineering, physics, civil engineering, meteorology or comparable)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Passion for green energy
- Explain complex issues clearly and in simple language
- Knowledge of common software (e.g. wake2e, WakeGuard, Windpro, Ansys etc.)
- Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in German (and English)
