Consultant (m/f/d) Energy Efficiency Policy
Your tasks
- Responsible collaboration and, if possible, management of projects or sub-projects in national and international projects in the context of the development and implementation of energy efficiency and climate protection targets, strategies, instruments and measures
- Conducting research and analyses on existing energy efficiency and climate protection policies
- Developing and coordinating analyses and studies in collaboration with research institutes
- Preparing and communicating consulting results on specific energy efficiency and climate protection policy issues
- Conception and implementation of networking activities, expert working groups and workshops with cooperation partners from politics, business, administration, science and associations
- Organization of cooperation with project partners and other experts
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in political science, planning, environmental sciences, economics, engineering or comparable courses of study
- Experience in consulting on energy efficiency issues and climate protection in a national/international context
- Knowledge of national and international energy and climate policy, preferably in the fields of political instruments, energy markets, energy services, energy efficiency measures
- Strong ability to work analytically and conceptually
- Confidence in using MS Office
- Committed manner in dealing with cooperation partners and clients
- Ability to work independently, strong organizational and communication skills, high motivation and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to undertake business trips lasting several days to countries including Turkey, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, China, Uruguay and Brazil
- Very good written and spoken German
- Business fluent in English, further language skills are an advantage
