Fitter (m/f/d) Switchgear construction / Operation and maintenance of hydropower plants

We, FairNetz GmbH, are the grid operator in Reutlingen and in many municipalities in the region. With over 300 employees, we ensure the reliable and sustainable operation of electricity, natural gas, district heating and drinking water grids. Your tasks

  • Construction and conversion of electrical switchgear and transformer stations, 1-, 10-, 30-, 110-kV, in FairNetz and third-party systems
  • Maintenance, servicing and renewal of transformers, low- and medium-voltage switchgear
  • Installation of connection joints, branch joints and terminations in the 1-, 10-, 20- and 30-kV range
  • Carrying out checks on switchgear and substations, assisting in the on-call service and rectifying faults
  • Independent inspection and maintenance of hydropower systems
  • Maintenance and repair work on electrical and mechanical machines and systems in the hydropower sector
  • Carrying out and supporting electrical installation and wiring work as well as machining and processing sheet metal and metal structures

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical vocational training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d), electronics technician (m/f/d), mechanic (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification
  • Ideally experience in energy supply/hydropower
  • Independent, structured and conscientious working style
  • Confident and friendly demeanor and ability to work in a team
  • Driving license class BE

  • Our remuneration is based on the TV-V collective agreement and, in the case of RSV, the WBO collective agreement. Each job is evaluated and remunerated according to performance.
