Your tasks

  • In this position, you will ensure compliance with all legal requirements, particularly with regard to regulation and unbundling. You will ensure that all relevant regulatory obligations are fulfilled and that the legal requirements of the EnWG and ARegV are implemented precisely.
  • Reporting: You will independently prepare data and create applications, data collection forms, reports and statistics for the regulatory authority in accordance with the requirements of the EnWG and other legal regulations, ordinances and guidelines.
  • Analysis: You analyze regulatory issues and questions and support the strategic technical and commercial optimization of the regulated areas in order to provide a sound basis for decision-making for the company.
  • Regulatory duties: You will independently prepare monitoring and publication obligations as well as testate submissions, e.g. for concession fees and avoided network charges, and ensure their timely fulfillment.
  • Calculations: You will independently calculate revenue caps, network charges, avoided network charges and special charges and also prepare internal and external statistics and reports, including monthly reports for controlling and overviews of regulatory accounts.
  • Planning: You will be involved in the preparation of the business plan and annual financial statements; this also includes medium-term planning for revenue caps, reconciliation of energy flows and provisions for concession fees. You will also independently prepare and optimize the divisional and activity-based financial statements.
  • Data preparation: You will independently prepare the divisional and activity-based financial statements, optimize them and contribute to the data preparation, while accompanying the hearings for the cost audit for gas and electricity in the photo years.
  • Expertise: You are the contact person for commercial regulatory issues and provide advice to internal and external stakeholders (m/f/d), while at the same time participating in benchmark and regulatory projects and actively contributing your expertise.

Your qualifications

  • Education: You have completed a relevant bachelor’s degree or specialist training, ideally in the fields of economics or administrative sciences.
  • Knowledge: You have a sound knowledge of the ARegV (Incentive Regulation Ordinance) and the EnWG (Energy Industry Act).
  • PC skills: You are confident in using standard office software and have experience in working with SAP (not mandatory).
  • Personality: Your focus on results, a high degree of initiative and independence make you the ideal candidate for this position.
