Manager Power Grids – Technical and Regulatory (f/m/d)

Your tasks
- Representing the interests of our members vis-à-vis political, social and economic decision-makers in Germany and Europe with a focus on technical and regulatory framework conditions for the further development of electricity grids in Germany
- Coordinating, agreeing and managing the development of overarching proposals for technical regulations for the construction and operation of electricity grids in close cooperation with our trade associations and divisions in areas such as system issues and secure grid operation, digitalization of the energy transition or efficient expansion of the grid infrastructure. The aim is to represent a coordinated ZVEI position through the ZVEI representatives delegated to external committees, e.g. in the Grid Technology / Grid Operation Forum (FNN)
- Development and representation of overarching association positions and regulatory proposals for the development and financing of an efficient electricity grid infrastructure suitable for the energy transition (climate neutrality grid)
- Independent support for participating member companies and optimization of cooperation between committees (including acquisition, content and organizational preparation, support and follow-up)
- Creation of communication content for internal and external media (newsletter, social media, etc.) to increase the visibility of our industry as an innovative driver of modern technologies
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree
- Ideally relevant professional experience in an association, an institution for standardization / regulation, research institute or a company in the energy industry
- Technical knowledge of electricity grids as well as trends and developments in the national and European regulatory framework
- Independent and responsible way of working
- Analytical and communication skills, organizational talent, ability to work in a team
- Committed approach to work, initiative, flexibility and willingness to travel
- Good written communication skills and fluency in written and spoken German as well as at least English
