Technical Operations Manager (m/f/d) from UKB

The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The Group’s project pipeline currently amounts to more than 19 gigawatts in all of its markets. Through its operations management company UKB, it also provides operations management for wind and PV parks

Your tasks

  • You provide technical support for wind turbines/wind farms
  • You analyze the performance
  • You take care of communication with operators, turbine manufacturers, service companies, energy suppliers and authorities
  • Your tasks also include the coordination and monitoring of maintenance and repair measures
  • You monitor deadlines and schedules
  • Your area of responsibility also includes the introduction, coordination and monitoring of experts and the evaluation of expert reports
  • You report defects to the manufacturers and service companies and check that they are being processed
  • Incident management is also part of your area of activity

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed a degree in a technical field, preferably electrical engineering or mechanical engineering, or are a state-certified technician, or have relevant professional training with several years of professional experience in the operational management of wind turbines
  • Professional experience in the technical management of wind turbines is an advantage, but not essential
  • You have good math skills
  • Your strengths include working independently and analytically as well as your communication and teamwork skills
  • You have very good written and oral communication skills in German and good written and spoken English skills
  • You are experienced in using the common MS Office applications, knowledge of Rotorsoft is not mandatory, but desirable and an advantage
  • You are in possession of a valid car driver’s license
