Expert (m/f/d) international projects in the field of digital technologies and start-up ecosystem for the energy sector
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- The position is based in the Digital Technologies and Start-up Ecosystem division, which oversees all dena activities relating to the digitalization of energy infrastructures, start-ups, innovations and cyber security at both national and international level.
- Project work within the framework of bilateral energy and climate policy partnerships of the German government on the topics of start-ups, start-up ecosystems, cyber security and digitalization in the energy sector
- Research, analysis and content preparation of topics relating to innovative business models, the development of start-up ecosystems, cybersecurity and the digitalization of the energy transition
- Collaboration in the conception and coordination of market and potential studies
- Support in the management of stakeholder processes
- Participation and co-design of expert working groups and consultations with cooperation partners from politics, science, business, administration and associations
- Collaboration in the conception, organization and implementation of project meetings, workshops and events as well as bilateral and multilateral exchange formats
- Contributing to the further development of the work area and the establishment of new methods and knowledge structures
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in a relevant field, e.g. political science, engineering or economics, ideally with a focus on the energy industry – or comparable professional experience
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Experience in an international environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to present information and ideas clearly (internally and externally)
- Ideally knowledge of the current challenges of the energy transition as well as the opportunities of digitalization and cyber security
- Confident and respectful demeanor in dealing with cooperation partners
- Very good knowledge of German and English, further language skills are an advantage
- Committed, team-oriented way of working and enjoy working in a competent and diverse team
- Interest in the energy industry, digitalization, start-ups and cyber security in an international context
