Your tasks
- Management of diverse, innovative and challenging projects in the field of technical infrastructure development measures, in particular energy management/technology (heating/cooling, natural gas/hydrogen, power supply including renewable energies for local power generation)
- Initiating, managing and controlling these projects as client representative with regard to costs, deadlines, qualities and quantities in all project phases
- Steering and processing control information from the external project controller
- Contact person and coordination point for all stakeholders and external project participants in the area of energy supply
- Initiating and managing the necessary tenders for consulting, project management, planning and construction for Tegel Projekt GmbH and the concessionaire for the low-energy network
- Negotiating and managing contracts (development, concession, design and usage contracts)
- Developing and pursuing sustainability goals and implementing measures to increase the overall performance (technical, economic, ecological) of the existing and future supply network
- Representing the project at public events, presentations and interview requests in German and English
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed engineering studies, preferably with a focus on supply engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the implementation of complex projects with responsibility for results, ideally in the field of planning, construction, project management and/or operation of infrastructures
- Extensive knowledge of project management and client representation for complex projects
- Reliable judgment of technical, economic and legal contexts
- High affinity for innovative, digital and smart technologies/systems
- Good knowledge of the applicable technical, procurement and budgetary regulations of the public sector, including VOB, VgV, HOAI, AHO, LHO, ABau
- Comprehensive relevant IT knowledge as well as a high degree of teamwork, organizational skills and willingness to take responsibility
- Proactive, structured way of working, coordination skills and a high degree of initiative and analytical thinking skills
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
