In the meantime, 23 municipalities have been expanded with high-performance fiber optic networks and five climate-friendly heating plants have been built. Your tasks
- Strategic priorities are regularly defined – you are responsible for structuring, monitoring based on defined KPIs and integration into the overall strategy. You identify impulses for new business areas – especially in the digital and B2B-oriented environment – and translate these into viable concepts with and for the company’s management team.
- Identification, evaluation and prioritization of innovation and digitalization potentials as well as trends from external impulses
- Joint development of viable concepts in the divisional management team – passing on decision-ready cases to management
- Participation in relevant (external) working groups, trade fairs and network meetings (e.g. InterSolar, FiberDays, E-World)
- Continuous further development and administrative management of the key performance indicator system (KPIs), in close coordination with the divisional management level – methodical support, monitoring and progress tracking (quarterly meetings)
- Preparation of strategy-relevant meetings (e.g. Supervisory Board, shareholders) as well as occasional support in overarching topics (e.g. location or investment projects)
Your qualifications
New impetus beats conventional supply and energy industry experience! This role looks to the future and requires innovative thinking and a high affinity for digital processes and business areas. Therefore, it is not important whether you have a university degree (e.g. industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration or similar) or alternatively training and further education in a commercial or technical environment with relevant professional experience. You come from a digital business in the private sector or from a progressive utility company. Because here in Geesthacht we need agile working methods / scrum methods, KPI-driven processes and change management.
