Your tasks

  • Development of new guidelines: In this role you will develop and review technical specifications, guidelines, maintenance strategies and decision templates in the area of control and metering technology for AC substations. The focus is on the introduction of new technology and processes for intelligent measuring systems (IMS) (smart meters, recording power measurement RLM)
  • Tendering process: You prepare technical tender documents, evaluate the technical offers and conduct technical negotiations
  • Participation in audits and tests: You will take part in functional tests of new technical systems and manufacturer audits. You will also work with our service staff to coordinate the requirements for acceptance tests at the stations
  • Determining requirements: You coordinate with internal stakeholders to determine the needs and requirements in relation to control and metering technology
  • New technologies: You support the introduction of new technologies and the further development of existing systems

Your qualifications

  • Qualifications: You have successfully completed a degree in automation, information technology or electrical engineering. Alternatively, you have a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience: You have experience in the field of control technology or process automation and metering. At best, you are familiar with the following protocols: IEC 60870-5-101/-102/-104, IEC 61850, OPC UA, IEC 62056-21 (IEC 61107), DLMS/COSEM
  • Introduction of measurement systems: Ideally, you have experience in the introduction of intelligent measurement systems and the secure supply chain
  • Industry experience: Preferably you have experience in the energy industry (DSO, TSO, manufacturer, etc.) or industries with similar technology (oil and gas, chemical industry, etc.)
  • Communication: You have good communication skills in German and English as we operate internationally
