Stuttgart Netze ensures that people in Stuttgart have a reliable supply of electricity and gas around the clock. As a distribution grid operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600-kilometre-long electricity grid and the 2,100-kilometre-long gas grid in the state capital. In addition to ensuring security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the grids in order to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. We also look after 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we have around 600 employees supporting the state capital of Stuttgart on its path to climate neutrality by 2035.
Our employees in operational services take care of maintenance and repair, as well as the containment and rectification of faults in the medium and high-voltage grid.
Your tasks
- Varied tasks await you
- Maintenance & service: You will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and service work on components in substations, switchgear and transformer stations in the high and medium voltage range.
- Fault diagnosis & repair: You will identify and rectify faults in the high and medium-voltage grid to ensure that our customers are supplied with energy at all times
- Flexible deployment: In order to guarantee the supply in the high and medium-voltage grid at all times, you will take part in the on-call service with attractive remuneration.
Your qualifications
- Professional qualifications: You have completed vocational training in an electrical profession and have a technical understanding of energy supply networks.
- First professional experience: You have already gained experience in the maintenance and repair of electrotechnical components of a grid operator or are willing to familiarize yourself intensively.
- Mobility: You have a class B driving license, ideally also BE, in order to be able to travel flexibly in the area of operation
- Personal strengths: Reliability, ability to work in a team and flexibility characterize you and make you a valuable support in our team
