VSE Verteilnetz GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE AG and a company of the VSE Group. As a regional grid operator, we are responsible for the operation of the 110 kV and 35 kV electricity grids with the functions of asset management, grid service, grid management and regulation management. With a high level of expertise, we ensure a reliable supply and trouble-free operation – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Your tasks
- Independent control and monitoring of the high-voltage grid of VSE Verteilnetz GmbH
- Independent control and monitoring of the high and medium-voltage grids of the partners of the Saarland Cooperation (SAKO) and other connected grid operators
- Coordination of fault clearance measures in the above-mentioned grids and with neighboring grid operators and industrial customers
- Load management including power plant deployment planning in the high-voltage grid
- Implementation of redispatch measures
- Deployment and monitoring of the ripple control system
- Grid management activities according to specifications
- Carrying out various grid calculations using specific software
- Back office support for critical projects, such as project planning for new systems, participation in the creation and coordination of new instructions and guidelines within SaKo and the E.ON Group
- Support in the support and maintenance of computer systems and the associated data management, in particular SASO, GLDPM, HEO, Redispatch 2.0
Your qualifications
- Master craftsman/technician training in the field of electrical engineering
- Basic knowledge and initial experience in network management and network operation, ideally in public power supply, is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of the MS Office package and other relevant software
- High motivation as well as organizational and team skills
- Quick comprehension and confident demeanor
- On-call duty (after initial training)
- Deployment in 3-fold alternating shift service (after successful induction)
- Possession of a class B driving license
