Group Leader Portfolio Management (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • As Group Head of Portfolio Management at Stadtwerke Solingen GmbH, you will not only lead a team – you will be responsible for the strategic development of our electricity and gas portfolios in a dynamic market environment.
  • You will assume technical and commercial responsibility for the Portfolio Management business area – including the strategic and operational management of our electricity and gas portfolios.
  • You will further develop accounting and procurement strategies, actively shape risk guidelines and ensure sound pricing and optimization models.
  • You will manage the further development of our energy IT systems in portfolio and balancing group management and drive forward the digitalization of related processes.
  • You monitor market and price developments, derive recommendations for action and contribute to the further development of our product portfolio – from commodity topics to innovative topics such as PPAs, district solutions or tenant electricity.
  • You ensure your team’s ability to act – through clear substitution rules, an open management culture and targeted personnel development.
  • You are the central point of contact for energy industry issues and work closely with related departments.

Your qualifications

  • A completed Master’s degree with a focus on energy economics/business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the portfolio management of an energy company – including sales interfaces
  • Experience in the goal- and value-oriented management of competent and highly specialized employees
  • A strategic mindset, strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills
  • A high degree of social competence, persuasiveness, personal responsibility and entrepreneurial action
