Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) Energy Transition Innovations
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- Research, analysis and content preparation of topics relating to innovative and digital business models as well as technological developments for the energy transition and climate neutrality
- Management of stakeholder processes in the context of start-ups, innovations, climate tech and the energy transition in a national and European context
- Independent management and control of (sub-)projects in the areas of technical, economic and regulatory development in the fields of innovation, business models and transformation of the energy industry
- Continuous monitoring of the market environment
- Development of key topics and supervision of specialist topics relating to start-ups and innovations for the energy transition and climate protection
- Project quality assurance
- Participation in the further development of the field of work and the development of new knowledge and methods
- The position is part-time and full-time and is initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in engineering, economics or political science or similar with a focus relevant to the energy transition (digitalized energy systems, renewable energies, energy management, energy law, energy and environmental sciences, sustainability, smart cities, etc.)
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in the fields of energy transition, energy industry, digitalization of the energy transition, experience with start-ups and innovations an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of the current (regulatory) challenges of the energy transition at national and European level
- Strong ability to work analytically and conceptually
- Good understanding of political, economic and technical contexts and dynamics
- Very good written and spoken German skills
