Approval planning officer (m/f/d)

The UKA Group is one of the leading project developers for renewable energies in Germany. The Group’s project pipeline currently amounts to more than 19 gigawatts in all of its markets. It also manages wind and PV parks via its operations management company UKB.

Your tasks

  • You accompany the projects from the preparation of the approval planning to the handover to the developer
  • You prepare the permit applications:
  • Guidance in the preparation of approval planning and the preparation of approval applications
  • Analyzing projects for possible approval risks
  • Obtaining and reviewing expert opinions on nature conservation and immission control forecasts
  • You accompany approval and legal proceedings:
  • Evaluation of comments from the authorities involved and the public
  • Coordination with authorities involved in the approval process
  • Participation in discussion meetings
  • Supporting objection and legal proceedings with the involvement of legal counsel
  • Preparing for construction is also one of your tasks:
  • Applying for further permits (e.g. under water and road law)
  • Obtaining and reviewing the necessary technical reports (including legal advice)
  • You will also be responsible for coordinating those involved in the project

Your qualifications

  • A successfully completed university or university of applied sciences degree in spatial planning, urban and regional planning, landscape planning, environmental planning, environmental law, geography or equivalent
  • Strong logical thinking skills
  • Previous knowledge and professional experience in the development of renewable energy projects, in particular wind energy, is desirable but not essential
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as quick comprehension skills Experienced use of MS Office applications
  • Initial experience with the planning tools ArcGis or WindPro would be desirable
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
