Environmental Consultant (m/f/d)
The IHK Ulm is a self-governing organization of the regional economy in the districts of Alb-Donau and Biberach as well as in the city of Ulm. We are the first point of contact for all economic issues.
Your tasks
- You will support and advise our member companies on fundamental and current environmental issues such as the circular economy, sustainability reporting, supply chain laws, greenhouse gas balancing, setting up environmental or energy management systems and much more.
- Maintain contact with the environmental and sustainability officers in the companies – also in the form of regular company visits
- Organize information and specialist events
- Initiate and supervise working groups and networks
- Design and create information material, leaflets and other handouts
- In the politically oriented work
- Create statements and specialist articles
- Organize company visits, e.g. to explain the particular challenges faced by companies to political representatives
- Network with environmental consultants from other IHKs and work in supra-regional networks
Your qualifications
- A degree in engineering, natural sciences or law, preferably with an environmental law component, is your professional basis
- Ideally, you have already gained (initial) professional experience, perhaps in the environmental sector of a company or business organization?
- You are a good communicator and appreciate entrepreneurial thinking
- You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics and preparing them independently
