Your tasks
- As Head of the Electricity Department (m/f/d), you will have overall responsibility for grids and systems in the areas of high voltage, medium voltage and low voltage as well as for operational management in the area of street lighting.
- You will manage the entire organizational unit in disciplinary and technical terms
- You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the functionality of the infrastructure for the supply grids in the electricity division
- You will plan measures to implement the renewal and expansion strategies
- You are responsible for the operational management, maintenance and construction of a sustainable infrastructure for the supply networks in the electricity and telecommunications divisions
- You will provide and develop services for the City of Mannheim, local authorities and municipalities as well as industry, trade and commerce
Your qualifications
- Completed engineering studies (diploma or master’s degree)
- Knowledge of electrical power supply and grids
- Many years of extensive professional and management experience
- High level of analytical thinking and a confident, competent manner as well as excellent communication skills and strong negotiating skills
