Energy electronics technician/electrical network technician in the power grid (m/f/*)

We, Berlin Energie Netz und Service GmbH, based at the former Tempelhof Airport, with currently 28 employees (m/f/*), are responsible for and take over the day-to-day operation of many of Berlin’s energy supply grids. Our focus is on ensuring the operation of the electricity grid and the replacement, exchange and new construction of electrical switching and grid systems. Our largest contiguous supply area at present, covering an area of 355 ha, is the former Tempelhof Airport.
Your tasks
- Maintenance and repair work as well as operation and monitoring of power grids and systems
- Switching services in the low and medium-voltage grid
- Electrical installation and fault location in the low and medium-voltage grid
- Erection and construction of local grid stations and distribution systems
- Connection of control and measurement technology for remote monitoring
- After training, participation in on-call duty within Berlin
- Carrying out repair work in the low and medium voltage grid
- Instruction of contractors in working with electrical systems
- Compliance with safety regulations
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, electrical engineering or similar
- Good knowledge of low and medium-voltage systems and grids
- Sound professional experience in grid operation – ideally with a 30 kV or 110 kV switching authorization
- You are willing to participate in on-call duty
- You have the willingness to build up knowledge and practical work
- Experience in IT, from a private or professional environment, makes your profile particularly interesting
- Your strengths are initiative, independence and reliability
- You are a strong team player and actively contribute to the reorganization of the energy supply system
- You have a class B driving license
