TenneT is growing in order to achieve its strategic goals: We are tackling the transformation of the energy supply. We are making the energy transition! Join us – with a job that really makes a difference!
Grid Field Operations Germany (GFG) is responsible for the operation, maintenance and expansion of the German electricity grid, ensuring a secure supply for our end customers and society as a whole. At the heart of our mission is the goal of secure and reliable grid operation in conjunction with a forward-looking and efficient project strategy, which – always with a view to the future – is characterized by intensive cooperation with our partner unit Large Projects Germany (LPG), among others. With more than 1,200 employees, we fulfill our role as a reliable and innovative operator of TenneT’s German extra-high-voltage grid. Against the backdrop of responsible budget planning, the integrity of people, the environment and our assets has top priority in our daily work – to create an environment in which safety and well-being are paramount in all our activities.
TenneT is a leading European grid operator. We are committed to providing a safe and reliable electricity supply – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are helping to shape the energy transition – for a sustainable, reliable and affordable energy future. As the first cross-border transmission system operator, we plan, build and operate a high-voltage and extra-high-voltage grid with a length of over 25,000 kilometers in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany and enable the European energy market with our 17 interconnectors to neighboring countries. With a turnover of 9.2 billion euros and total assets of 45 billion euros, we are one of the largest investors in national and international electricity grids, on land and at sea. Every day, our 8,300 employees give their best and ensure that more than 43 million end consumers can rely on a stable supply of electricity in line with our values of responsibility, courage and networking.
