Electrical engineering trainer (m/f/d)
WEMAG Netz GmbH from Schwerin operates – as a subsidiary of WEMAG – a supply network for electrical energy in western Mecklenburg as well as in parts of Brandenburg and Lower Saxony. The grid area covers approx. 8,000 square kilometers. Around 15,000 kilometers of lines are used for the safe and high-quality distribution of electricity.
Your tasks
- Independently carrying out theoretical and practical vocational training in accordance with the applicable regulations for trainees of the WEMAG Group and trainees of cooperation partners
- Motivating the trainees and structured target group-oriented knowledge transfer as well as individual learning process support
- Creating and constantly adapting the factual and temporal structure, including the planning and coordination of the operational process
- Didactic, methodical preparation of training content to impart knowledge and skills
- Ongoing further development of methodological approaches in vocational training against the backdrop of digitalization
- Participation in the preparation and implementation of the (extended) final examination
- Creating and carrying out learning success assessments to determine individual learning progress
- Collaboration with the responsible body (IHK), vocational school, cooperation partners and company departments as well as networking
- Implementation of vocational orientation measures
- Keeping training records and documents and fulfilling verification obligations
- Creating assessments and documentation for the preparation of training certificates
- Instructing training officers and accompanying specialists and coordinating training tasks and objectives
- Accompanying the selection process
- Preparation and realization of projects within the WEMAG Group
- Creating risk assessments for relevant training occupations and carrying out occupational safety instructions for trainees
Your qualifications
- Completed technical vocational training and master craftsman in electrical engineering, additional qualification as a certified vocational teacher desirable
- Professional experience in vocational training, taking final examinations in accordance with the applicable regulations for industrial electrical professions
- Basic knowledge of labor law (BBiG, JArbSchG, relevant collective agreements)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Cross-divisional, process-oriented thinking
- Good communication skills, empathy and particularly strong teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Car driver’s license
