Stuttgart Netze ensures that people in Stuttgart have a reliable supply of electricity and gas around the clock. As a distribution grid operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600-kilometre-long electricity grid and the 2,100-kilometre-long gas grid in the state capital. In addition to ensuring security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the grids in order to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. We also look after 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital of Stuttgart on its path to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees.
Our employees in the “Operations Management” team are divided into four teams and deal with operational issues, emergency power systems and measurements, signal cable networks as well as protection and telecontrol technology.
Your tasks
- Varied tasks await you
- Technical responsibility: You will assume responsibility for the topic of overhead lines in the low- and high-voltage sector
- Expertise & coordination: You are the central contact person and head the overhead line expert group
- Maintenance: You define and supervise all maintenance and inspection tasks relating to overhead lines
- Service book design: You will play a key role in the creation and maintenance of the overhead line service book.
- Specifications: You develop technical specifications – including for masts – and ensure their implementation
- Service provider management: You will be responsible for the technical management of services in the area of high-voltage overhead lines
Your qualifications
- Qualifications: Completed further training as an electricity network foreman, master craftsman or electrical engineering technician – alternatively comparable qualification through many years of professional experience
- Personality & working style: You have a confident manner, work independently and are characterized by a high level of team orientation
- Experience & industry knowledge: Ideally, you have practical experience in the field of overhead lines (low and high voltage)
- Technical understanding & IT competence: Basic knowledge of MS Office is available – interest in modern communication technology is desirable
- Mobility: Class B driving license for assignments in the Stuttgart area is required
