Your tasks
- As a Data Engineer, you will work independently on the (further) development of systems and interfaces for the provision of energy industry data for the energy industry and trade.
- In this position, you will ensure the best possible connection of various data sources, including price and fundamental data, and will be responsible for integrating external service providers.
- You will also be responsible for developing and continuously refining the data strategy for the energy industry and trading division.
- You will support internal customers, in particular data analysts, in the use of specific data management systems.
- You will also be responsible for quantitative and qualitative data analyses in the energy industry environment based on fundamental data, technical analyses and statistical methods.
Your qualifications
- You have a degree in computer science, economics or engineering or have a comparable qualification.
- You have knowledge of programming with languages such as Python, SQL or similar technologies and have experience in dealing with automated interfaces such as APIs.
- Ideally, you have already gained experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark or similar frameworks.
- Your keen eye for detail and your ability to think in terms of processes set you apart.
- Working independently to a high degree is an important criterion for you and you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.
- A good command of English rounds off your personal portfolio.
