Project Developer Renewable Energies (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Identifying, analyzing, evaluating, developing and implementing ground-mounted photovoltaic projects and battery energy storage projects (BESS) in Germany
- Reviewing and evaluating photovoltaic projects and BESS as part of project acquisition and M&A transactions
- Assessing potential sites with regard to their suitability for photovoltaic and BESS projects (including micrositing, regional planning issues, urban land-use planning, etc.)
- Conducting public participation, coordinating with authorities, negotiating with cooperation partners and other project participants
- Coordinating and managing service providers and monitoring the construction of photovoltaic or BESS projects
- Involving, coordinating and managing the specialist departments involved in the individual project phases
- Adhering to the project objectives (project costs, budget, schedule, contract management)
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding contacts and networks, representing the company externally
- Carrying out market studies and contributing to strategic planning and budgeting
Your qualifications
- Completed master’s degree/diploma in electrical engineering, completed other engineering or business administration, economics, law, geography, landscape planning, agricultural science, environmental science or comparable studies
- Several years of experience in the development of ground-mounted photovoltaic projects in Germany, in the construction of ground-mounted photovoltaic projects and experience in the development of BESS
- Knowledge of contract law as well as BauGB, BImSchG and EIA laws, current political framework conditions and good knowledge of official structures
- Ability to negotiate and conclude contracts that need to be concluded in the context of ground-mounted photovoltaic/BESS project development (e.g. land lease and/or purchase agreements, urban development contracts, general contractor agreements, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the economic viability of renewable energy projects (DCF method)
- Ability to work quickly, responsibly and independently and to familiarize yourself with new issues
- Confident appearance, structured work, diligence and strong communication skills
- Driving license class B
- High willingness to travel for business trips within Germany
