Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)
Our client is a successful, owner-managed large-scale plant manufacturer and a global leader in its segment of environmental technology. The company designs and implements complex, individually customized systems – from planning and delivery to commissioning and subsequent on-site service. For the order processing department, we are looking for a convincing personality as Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for budget, deadlines and successful project realization
- Responsible for budget, deadlines and quality of project processing from contract signing to handover
- Main contact person for customers and partners and all key suppliers
- Preparation of component tenders and technical evaluation of offers on a case-by-case basis
- Co-design and deadline monitoring of supplier contracts
- Implementation of all contractual agreements
- Change and claim management
- Leading and motivating the interdisciplinary project team
- Regular reporting to the management
Your qualifications
- Completed studies, ideally in the fields of mechanical engineering, process engineering, civil engineering or similar.
- At least five years’ experience as a project manager in plant construction
- Knowledge of contract and claims management
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Business fluent in German and English, other languages an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and enjoy dealing with people
- Negotiating skills, assertiveness and strong communication skills, ability to find solutions to conflicting objectives
- Independent, committed and responsible working style
- Confident appearance, customer and service orientation and willingness to travel
