Head of Wastewater Treatment Department (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Independent management of the main wastewater treatment department with the two planning and construction departments as well as the operation of the two wastewater treatment plants (approx. 125 employees)
- Project management of major infrastructure and construction projects in the area of the two wastewater treatment plants
- Strategic further development of the main department as well as involvement in and management of future projects and decisions on fundamental issues
- Ensuring safe, proper and smooth operations with a focus on modernization and continuous improvement
- Motivating, promoting and developing your employees
- Perception of management readiness
Your qualifications
- University degree in urban water management, civil engineering, environmental engineering or comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience in the field of water management
- Strong leadership skills and an authoritative, reliable management style
- In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment and/or wastewater discharge
- Experience in plant construction and maintenance management
- Experience in the preparation and presentation of strategic decision papers
- High level of responsibility and a solution-oriented and structured way of working
- Ability to manage complex projects and large teams in a target-oriented manner
