Construction Site Coordinator Brownfield Projects (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- As a construction site coordinator for large-scale projects, you will support the project managers within the Renewables department (GPR) in the implementation of construction activities for projects to convert from natural gas to hydrogen transportation and to adapt the natural gas transportation network.
- As the interface between the brownfield construction site activities and project management, you will be responsible for coordinating the construction implementation of the technical measures as part of the major projects.
- As a direct contact person, you will be responsible for managing the construction management/specialist construction management of the commissioned general planners for questions and decisions in the execution of construction activities.
- You act as an interface between project management and operational management in the implementation of projects on and near the natural gas pipelines in operation (brownfield). You will support the decision makers in the course of operational issues in coordination with Gasunie’s operational functions.
- As part of the commissioning planning and execution, you are the interface to the operational commissioning coordinator.
- In the planning phase of the projects, you will use your experience in construction to support the review of technical planning with a view to feasibility and construction scheduling with an operational focus.
- Active participation in construction meetings, site inspections and regular presence on the construction sites
- Accompaniment of acceptance procedures and preparation of recourse / claims, control of event notifications with reference to the construction site, release of change notifications
- Control of SAP processes for the construction sites (service recording and release)
- Monitoring and control of the general planner’s measurement checks
Your qualifications

- Completed university degree with a technical focus
- 3 – 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the energy/gas industry
- Construction site experience: ideally in the field of pipeline laying, civil engineering/construction pits, ideally experience as a site manager
- Experience with high-pressure gas pipelines
- Practical experience in the production of weld seams on high-pressure gas pipelines
- Experience in assessing the execution of construction activities on the basis of framework contracts and specifications
- You are keen to take on new challenges and want to continuously develop yourself further
- You impress with your decision-making skills and assertiveness
- You are a real team player and have very good communication skills and sociability
- Confident with MS Office and SAP
- Possession of a class B(E) driving license
- Willingness to travel within the Gasunie network
