Consultant for air pollution control at the highest state authority responsible for environmental and climate protection policy (m/f/d)

Your tasks
- Controlling and coordinating clean air planning for Berlin
- Implementing effective measures to improve air quality
- Analyzing air pollution in Berlin, determining causes and sources and modeling air quality using suitable methods
- Developing, evaluating and implementing strategies and measures to reduce air pollutants, particularly in the transport sector
- Independent planning, awarding and monitoring of projects as well as close cooperation with responsible bodies in administration, science, associations and industry
- Representing Berlin’s interests in air pollution control in federal and state expert committees and coordinating with relevant partners from administration, science and practice
Your qualifications
- Completed scientific university degree (Dipl. / Master) in a natural, transportation, social, political or economic science subject, preferably with a focus on scientific, technical or environmental fields of work (e.g. environmental protection, technical environmental protection, meteorology, physics, geosciences, climate protection, energy management or similar) or equivalent skills or experience
- The formal requirements must be fulfilled and proven by the time of the selection decision at the latest.
