Project Manager Pipeline Construction (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- As a Project Manager Pipeline Construction (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the project management of assigned pipeline construction projects for hydrogen and natural gas. You will be responsible for independently managing the general planner with the support of a project controller, coordinating the specialist functions involved and monitoring compliance with the client’s specifications. - You will be the point of contact for the implementation of pipeline projects until the new infrastructure is handed over to operations.
- You will coordinate and initiate all necessary activities within and outside GUD for the identification, initiation, internal and external approval and realization of the technical measures for the implementation of the corresponding pipeline projects You will demonstrate strong and exemplary behavior with regard to our HSE values and compliance requirements.
- Under your leadership, you will be responsible for the pre-planning and coordination of the implementation of the resulting technical measures as well as the implementation and guidance of stringent project management in accordance with specifications, in compliance with time and budget requirements, as well as the regular monitoring of the project progress
- You will be responsible for managing the new pipeline construction projects transferred to Gate 1 up to RFO in compliance with budget, quality and time specifications. You will ensure the identification of disruptions, obstructions and corrections in the event of deviations from plan and the timely implementation of the identified mitigation measures in coordination with GPP management and the client.
- You will actively contribute to the development of strategies for GUD for the sustainable and efficient use of the existing GUD infrastructure, taking into account legal, economic, technical and contractual framework conditions.
Your qualifications

- Completed university degree (technical/commercial)
- Several years of professional experience and many years of experience in project management as well as reliable knowledge of the gas industry value chain including the legal, regulatory and technical framework conditions
- Project management training/certification is desirable
- Sound knowledge of the key business structures and interrelationships within the company
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
