Team Leader (m/f/d) International Networks
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- The focus of her work is on all issues relating to climate-neutral construction. Within the International Building division, her team focuses on dialog in international networks and partnerships, always in close cooperation with the Buildings and Neighborhood & City teams.
- This includes the following tasks in particular:
- Project management, including the development of strategy and content as well as the time and cost planning of specialist projects for climate-neutral construction, initially for countries outside Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China
- Management of a team of up to 5 employees
- Development and implementation of strategic plans for the development of a market for climate-neutral construction in the respective countries
- Development and application of a structured approach and suitable instruments for the implementation of efficiency and sustainability measures in the building sector
- Management of networks, communication with national and international partners, multipliers, stakeholders and specialist actors
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- We are looking for a prudent and committed supporter who wants to actively shape the urban and rural energy transition in an international context. Requirements are
- A degree with good to very good grades in the field of international energy transition
- Extensive international industry experience and relevant technical knowledge of climate-neutral construction
- Many years of experience in project implementation in an international context
- Experience in developing strategies for the decarbonization of existing buildings
- Experience in professional project management and in leading, developing and motivating teams
- Confident manner and commitment in dealing with cooperation partners and customers
- High level of communication skills, willingness to perform and travel
- Very good written and spoken German and good English skills, another language is an advantage
