Your tasks
- Drafting political statements and background papers
- Creation of campaign and information materials
- Conception, planning and implementation of events and discussions with decision-makers and stakeholders in the field of circular economy
- Representing DUH at meetings, conferences and networks
- Preparation and support of press and public relations work in cooperation with our newsroom and the campaign team
- Supporting DUH in legal proceedings
- Conceptual development of the topics
- Depending on the position, you will also focus on one of the following areas:
- Technical processing as well as management and strategic orientation of project work on national packaging policy with a focus on reusable beverage packaging or
- Technical processing, management and strategic orientation of project work on municipal packaging policy, in particular on packaging taxes and the topic of sustainability in sport at national level
Your qualifications

- Degree/training in environmental sciences, recycling management, technical environmental protection or a comparable subject
- Ideally relevant professional experience
- Familiar with legal norms of the circular economy (e.g. Circular Economy Act, Packaging Act) and ideally with municipal waste legislation
- Willingness to familiarize yourself with specialist topics and positions
- Experience in project management and ideally in the acquisition of project funds
- Initiative, ability to think politically and strategically, enjoy scientifically sound work, a high degree of independence, motivation and very good teamwork skills
- Very good command of English and sound IT skills
