BayWa r.e. Energy Trading GmbH has been one of the leading marketers of green energy for many years. We offer our customers a wide range of energy-related services and products. In addition to the direct marketing of decentralized renewable energy and CHP plants, we support both plants with expiring EEG subsidies and the further expansion of renewable energy projects without subsidy mechanisms with Power Purchase Agreements. We are actively contributing to the energy transition with new topics such as the marketing of battery storage systems and electrolysers as well as the supply of community electricity. We are not only focusing on Germany, but are also expanding our business activities internationally.
We are an international project developer in the fields of wind, solar and battery storage. In addition to the planning, development and construction of plants, our activities also include their operation and maintenance as well as energy trading. BayWa r.e. is also a leading provider in solar wholesale. In total, we have successfully connected more than 6 GW of renewable energy projects to the grid. • You will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the Operations Management team in the Accounting and Controlling department with a focus on energy industry billing and market communication and will be the first point of contact for your team.
• You are responsible for the design and continuous optimization of the technical process flows in the team, the associated interfaces and their documentation.
• Together with your team, you will expand the functionalities of the billing system and integrate it into the existing process and IT landscape.
• Together with the Business & Product Development, Sales Support, Back Office, Accounting, Controlling, Legal and IT departments, you will work on new product developments in the national and international environment as well as their technical and operational implementation.
• You will develop and maintain the reporting from your area of responsibility for internal and external recipients, including statistical reporting, and support internal and external audits

• You have successfully completed your studies in the field of energy economics, business administration or a comparable commercial field
• You have several years of management experience, relevant professional experience in energy industry processes and in the billing / accounting functions
• Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of the legal regulations of the EEG, EnWG, StromStG and UStG as well as regulatory ordinances and resolutions (e.g. Federal Network Agency)
• You have a strong understanding of processes, a high affinity for IT and project management experience in an agile environment
• Your conceptual thinking and structured approach are complemented by a high level of organizational talent
• You are a team player, solution-oriented, a strong communicator and have a confident manner
• You work independently, with a high level of commitment and initiative and are able to work under pressure
• You communicate fluently in German and English
